Virtual Season
Similar to our Spring 2020 quarter, our upcoming Fall activities will be mainly on Zoom. Weekly technical training, guest teachers, Friday workshops taught by our own members, and family / individual choreo challenges were some of our favorite Spring highlights. (Check out our social media below to see what we've been up to!) We plan to incorporate these same kinds of aspects for this season, prioritizing training, team bonding, and creative choreo projects in small groups.
If you're interested in joining our team this quarter:
1.) Please fill this application out by Tuesday October 6 11:59pm CST. Everyone is required to have an application filled out to be considered for the team.
2.) The format of auditions will be a Zoom workshop (Wednesday October 7, 9-11pm CST), where you will learn two pieces of choreography. For those unable to attend the workshop, we will have videos posted to our YouTube channel (@Ex Crew) afterwards. Please register for the workshop here:
3.) After the workshop, you will have until Thursday October 8 11:59pm CST (24 hours from video release on YouTube) to submit a video of the learned choreography. Submissions should be emailed to excolaturdancecrew@gmail.com. Please submit it using your UChicago email so we will be able to contact you after auditions. Thank you!
